The book contains explained terms and expressions in Japanese that karate practitioners encounter during their practice.There are also all the katas practiced by the followers of Kase-Ha Shotokan-Ryu School of Karate, whose founder is Taiji Kase sensei.
Slavko Bubalo, the author, an experienced Karateka, is a person who has dedicated much of his life in pursuit of knowledge and seeks to understand and develop this knowledge of Karate-Do.
The book contains more than 1600 terms and expresions, about 2500 photographies, and total of 33 katas of Kase-Ha style. In addition to the standard 26 Shotokan katas, there are three more Taikyoku, then Heian-Oyo and Tekki-Oyo, and finally, Ten-no kata and Kase no Sanchin.
Of particular interest are the extensive biographies of Gichin and Yoshitaka Funakoshi, the founder of Shotokan, as well as biography of their student Taiji Kase.
